The Haines Society

The Haines Society was named to honor the very first Dolphin Scholar, John Lyman Haines, Jr., who was selected in 1961 when the Dolphin Scholarship Foundation was established. To read about Mr. Haines' distinguished career, click here.

Every Dolphin Scholar - past or present - is invited to join The Haines Society, and is eligible for membership by donating to the Foundation. Parents of current Dolphin Scholars who donate to DSF become members of the Parents' Circle, and their donation grants membership in The Haines Society to their students.

Membership benefits in The Haines Society include:

-   Special recognition in all DSF publications
-   Invitations to DSF special events such as Scholar receptions and the annual golf tournament
-   Special recognition during the 50th Anniversary Celebration
