“Submarines have always been a big part of my life. They are what provided both my dad and grandpa a job, my dad having served on multiple submarines and my grandpa working on them at EB. Submarines dictated where I lived; my dad was stationed in Connecticut, Hawaii, and back to Connecticut before he retired. Being a Dolphin Scholar keeps me connected to the submarines that have been such an influential part of my life.”
