“As a plank owner of the USS Montana (SSN 794), I take great pride in having helped bring the Virginia-class submarine to life, a role that demanded dedication, technical precision, and leadership from the start. That experience has inspired me to pursue higher education to further strengthen the knowledge and skills I bring to the Navy.

The USS Montana (SSN 794) Scholarship will help me achieve this goal by alleviating the financial burden of college, allowing me to focus on advancing both academically and professionally. As I continue to serve, my education will directly support my growth as a leader in the Submarine Force—enhancing my critical thinking, broadening my strategic perspective, and preparing me for increased responsibility in the fleet.
