“Being a Dolphin Scholar is an honor as I have personally seen the sacrifices and courage that being in the Navy entails. My father and so many others that supported me in the community I grew up in embody the Navy as they show their dedication, focus, and empathy in all aspects of their life. This scholarship will allow me to bring these same inspiring traits to the healthcare field where I will be meeting people in their times of need. I am so grateful for this scholarship as it assists me in achieving my dream of trying to make the world a better place.”
