“Through this scholarship, I’m gaining a lot more financial freedom during my time in college to complete my degree without stress. I’m also proud to honor my dad’s 26 years in the Submarine Force. I’m grateful to be given the opportunity to participate in higher education in a major I’m passionate in. It’s thanks to the sacrifices of my father towards my education that I’m able to pursue what I want. This scholarship is indicative of this sacrifice.”
